One of the most prestigious opportunities for law graduates, the Supreme Court of India has announced applications for its clerkship program, the Law Clerk-cum-Research Associate, for the term 2025-26. This program offers an invaluable chance to work alongside Supreme Court judges and engage in legal research and decision-making processes.

Key Highlights of the Clerkship
Approximately 90 candidates will be selected.
Remuneration: ₹80,000 per month.
Open to law graduates and final-year law students. Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (including Integrated Law Programs) from a recognised institution in India.
Age Limit: Candidates must be between 20 to 32 years old as of February 7, 2025.
Selection Process
The selection process includes three stages:
Part I: Multiple Choice Questions to assess legal knowledge and comprehension.
Part II: Subjective Written Examination to evaluate analytical and writing skills.
Part III: Interview.
The examination will be conducted on March 9, 2025, with Parts I and II taking place on the same day at multiple centres across India.
