PRS Legislative Research, a leading policy research group dedicated to strengthening India’s democracy, is now accepting applications for its rolling internship programme. This internship provides students with the opportunity to gain firsthand experience in policy research, legislative tracking and citizen engagement while working with experts in the field.

Deadline to apply for April is 20 March 2025.

About the Internship

The internship is structured to allow participants to work with either or both of PRS’s primary teams:

  • Research Team – Focuses on analysing policy and legislative issues of national importance.

  • Outreach Team – Engages with MPs, MLAs, media, and citizens, tracking legislative activities and managing PRS’s external communications.

Internship responsibilities vary depending on whether Parliament is in session:

  • During sessions – Interns assist analysts with research on live policy debates and contribute to PRS’s media outputs.
